Bloc Party
Bloc Party make music that moves your feet while giving your head something to wrestle with. Angular guitars and restless drums collide with Kele Okereke’s unmistakable voice, bringing urgency and vulnerability to the same song. Their sound stretches from raw indie rock to electronic experimentation, with quiet moments that make the next burst of noise hit even harder.
Bloc Party turn a short-lived love into the centre of their 2026 album, Anatomy Of A Brief Romance. Kele Okereke draws on personal experience to explore attraction, broken trust and the difficult business of letting go. With Trevor Horn producing, the band bring electronic colour to their restless sound, tracing how someone can briefly enter your life and leave you with far more to untangle than you expected.
